Are you excited for the upcoming weekend? While spending your time online can be entertaining, it can also be fun to try something new with the family this weekend.
Gather everyone at home and check out these fun and exciting bonding activities for the fam-bam.
Karaoke night
Bring out the speakers and microphones, it’s karaoke time! Rock out to your favorite songs and don’t mind the weird laughs of your karaoke buddies (a.k.a. your siblings). Don’t be afraid to put in some moves while you’re at it! And make sure your parents and even grandparents can be part of the fun by letting them sing their favorite tunes too!
If you don’t have a karaoke machine, you could download an app on your smartphone. With a Bluetooth microphone or a bottle of your favorite drink (as a makeshift microphone), you can sing your hearts out and have a night filled with music, laughs, and fun memories. Just make sure your volume is just right so that you won’t distract your neighbors.
Dance party!
Another great way to have fun inside the house aside from singing is… well, dancing! Play some music on your speakers and show off your dance moves.
To make it more fun, you may copy some choreographies from your favorite Tiktok videos or music videos and teach them to the rest of the family. Record the dance routine and post it online! It’s a great way to keep a fun memory alive, plus you may always look back at it and have a quick laugh anytime.
Play some party games
You don’t have to be at birthday parties to play party games. Bring the party at home this weekend by playing some of your favorite games with your family!
Try out some minute-to-win-it inspired games such as the classic cookie face where you place a cookie on the player’s forehead and watch them squint, grin, frown, and pout as they maneuver it across their face so it reaches their mouth.
If you’re feeling a bit more adventurous, ask about the games your parents used to play in the streets when they were kids and try them out for yourselves.
Movie night
You do know horror movies must be watched with grownups, right? Well, this is your chance. Make it a family affair and watch some scary movies over the weekend. If you’re not up for some nightmare-causing horror movies, there are also some light horror movies, and there are even funny ones.
Well, of course, it’s also a great idea to watch your favorite movies with them. Let them know what you like…so, you know, maybe they could get you some merch!
DIY Projects
Doing DIY projects is fun, especially when you do it with your loved ones. Make a custom bookmark for your class modules, or level up your online class setup by adding some LED lights on your study table. You may also build a kite, or a ball made of rubber bands.
There are plenty of things you could make, just remember to ask help from your parents or guardians, especially when you have to use scissors or other sharp objects.
If you want, you may do all of these in one day! Have fun and relax on a nice weekend. Start the day with some DIY Projects and a few party games, then watch some movies after. Cap off your day with a dance party or a fun karaoke night!
With all these ideas, what you shouldn't forget is to prepare and enjoy snacks to help keep the fun rolling. Munch on the sweet-savory goodness of Roller Coaster Barbeque flavor. It’s a yummy ring-shaped snack that your family will surely love.
For your siblings or parents who love anything cheese, there’s Roller Coaster Cheddar Cheese flavor for them to enjoy.
